We would like to Welcome Anjali Sharma as our esteemed speaker for Global Testing Retreat #ATAGTR2019
Anjali Sharma is currently working as a Member of Technical Staff in EdgeVerve Systems Limited in Performance Engineering Team. They do performance testing and engineering of products from end-to-end which gives a lots of scope to learn and contribute to the company.
She have been doing this since 4 years now and the monitoring and solving the bugs is what she like the most.
Anjali is our esteemed speaker for #ATAGTR2019.
Anjali will be taking an Interactive Session on “Re-engineering performance strategy of deep learning applications using TensorFlow – a powerful AI package” – Track 1 on Day 1
Modern information technologies and the advent of machines powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) have strongly influenced the world. The industry must evaluate what it will take to support AI as it moves towards mainstream. The rapid evolution of algorithms, software, and hardware to support AI requires a framework to understand the challenges and create a context to meet those challenges. In recent times there has been increase in usage of AI based applications built using TensorFlow package which is a widely used library by developers to build deep learning applications, it is necessary to construct a performance engineering methodology and approach to test and optimize deep learning applications which uses TensorFlow package.
This paper includes the performance engineering approach and optimization techniques for deep learning applications which uses TensorFlow package and also captures different performance metrics for optimizing the performance of deep learning applications.
We had posted some questions to Anjali as a part of his #ATAMyStory
1. Why should someone choose testing as a career ? Or What does testing really mean to you ?
The reason behind choosing performance testing as career is the challenge it imposes every day. It involves lots of learning and constant upskilling with newer technologies. You get to know about the product end-to-end and improve its performance at every single level. The job involves lots of creativity along with technical knowledge.
2. While practice makes all of us perfect, share an everyday practice that has made things better for you at work
Working on some tool and learning new concepts everyday.
3. The most challenging bug or issue that I have found and learnings from it ? Or The most challenging testing task that I have done and how I accomplished the same
There was slowness in an e-commerce application client which became a big performance issue once some promotional offers increased its load significantly. To solve the bug, proper indexing was done in DB.
#ATAGTR2019 is one of the largest, most fun filled and learning filled global testing conference. #ATAGTR2019 is back again in its 4th edition with more fun and more learnings than in the past. The conference is scheduled on 14th and 15th December in Pune.
- 2 Days
- 2 Panel Discussions
