We had posted some questions to Jitendra as a part of his #ATAMyStory
1. Why should someone choose testing as a career? Or What does testing really mean to you?
This profession ensure we deliver what is needed by end users. Success of complex mission critical application depends on testing the least possible scenario. Testing professional needs to be domain expert, able to use latest technology, having knowledge of products and ensure best customer experience with less time to market. It is combination of business, technology and customer behavior.
2. While practice makes all of us perfect, share an everyday practice that has made things better for you at work
Perfection is not in my dictionary. I love improvements. Simple reason, the day anyone achieves perfection, there is no scope for further improvement. Even god is not perfect. He has left work for human being to improve nature. The one thing that I try to practice is “do things differently”.
3. The most challenging bug or issue that I have found and learnings from it ? Or The most challenging testing task that I have done and how I accomplished the same
Mindset is most challenging bug in testing profession. Managing change is very important task as technology has very short shelf life. A continuous communication with people and awareness about end results is key to success.
Strong belief
Innovation should reach to field and not die in the labs.
