Abstract:

Today’s fast-moving software delivery environment emphasizes on bringing value to production as quickly as possible. The popularization of DevOps and cloud computing has revolutionized the software delivery process, making it faster and affordable for business, to release their software continuously.

We know from DevOps methodologies that better testing certainly improves overall outcomes and reduces post integration flaws. In my opinion testing maturity is a key differentiator of best practices in DevOps delivery. Many organizations can automate their integrations, builds and delivery processes but still have trouble with the subtleness of test orchestration and automation. We see test architects and testing teams playing an important role in offering their expertise for test design, test automation and test case development with DevOps.

We had posted some questions to Sachin as a part of his #ATAMyStory
1. Why should someone choose testing as a career ? Or What does testing really mean to you ?
Testing career has a bright future as its evolving with new era of technology. It does not have any limitations on technology, platforms as long as you keep your learning attitude on. For me, Testing is delivering a confidence which ensure business continuity with quality.
2. While practice makes all of us perfect, share an everyday practice that has made things better for you at work
I start my day at work by greeting my coworkers with a big smile which creates positivity in my work environment.
3. The most challenging bug or issue that I have found and learnings from it ? Or The most challenging testing task that I have done and how I accomplished the same

During one of my Data Center Migration project I found performance issues on Order Creation process which was business critical and we rectified the same by fixing indexing. Then we introduced new process with load testing on threads which in future helped to identify issues on performance.
