Snehasish Roy will be taking an Interactive Session on “AIML Driven extensive reusable Automation Asset Management Process (AIM) for QA/QE/Testing Org” – Track 1 on Day 2
We had posted some questions to Snehasish as a part of his #ATAMyStory
1. Why should someone choose testing as a career ? Or What does testing really mean to you ?
As per technology evolution and growth Testing/QE will further advance with Automation that can be carrier differentiator and not much different than development.
Testing is not only termed as “Testing” in industry today rather It advanced to term as “Quality Engineering” (QE) as well.
Why QE ?:- QE is not only to do testing and assure quality but in QE we do future study and R&D to provide optimized bug free future ready Products in DevOps model ready to use.
2. While practice makes all of us perfect, share an everyday practice that has made things better for you at work.
In Agile and DevOps most of the time we mistake and too early arrive at immediate Solution to any problem statement. But that’s not the correct way of doing solutions rather we should do R&D and see the bigger picture to arrive to the correct base solution that can be adapted and scalable over the time even in DevOps or Agile model.
3. The most challenging bug or issue that I have found and learnings from it ? Or The most challenging testing task that I have done and how I accomplished the same.
The most challenging testing done was to Migrate for one banking Card’s platform to another Card’s platform (Billions of transactions and data). Using Automation both the platforms were tested and reconciled to have zero mismatch against each other. We had penny to penny match between both the platforms.
