Kushan will be taking a hands on Lab Session on “Automate your Windows applications with Test Stack White” – Track 4 on Day 1
Kushan will also be taking another hands on Lab Session on “Viper Adding Masala to Test Automation” – Track 4 on Day 2
Test Stack White is an open source free test automation framework which is developed in C# .net. It incorporates industrial standards and best practices of creating test automation frameworks. It’s a code based framework and gives the test automation engineer full power and control over scripting.
We had posted some questions to Kushan as a part of his #ATAMyStory
1. What does testing really mean to you ? What does testing really mean to you ?
Testing is an interesting track. It helps anyone to explore the application more deeply. With performance and test automation testing has turned its wheels to a more technical path which helps us to learn greater depth of coding as well as now play the role of a developer and technical architect. It’s not just finding a bug or adhering to a process but it’s a role where we can use creativity, innovation and imaginary ways thinking.
2. While practice makes all of us perfect, share an everyday practice that has made things better for you at work
The main practice that has made my daily work better is work life balance. Another good practice that I take is use 1 or 2 hours of my personal time to learn something new in my career which will be an investment to me. This has helped me to expand my horizons in technical testing and find new innovative ways to do test automation, to find new test automation solutions and integrations.
3. The most challenging testing task that I have done and how I accomplished the same
Integrating ZED Attack proxy with C# test automation framework.
The above task was accomplished with the use of Apache ANT server where Java API calls of ZED Attack proxy was called by command driven interface which was in turn called within the C# test automation framework.
4. Anything else you want to share
The happiest moment in my life is where I was awarded as the best lab session speaker and 1st runner up in the leadership award at ATAGTR 2018
