We had posted some questions to Pankaj as a part of his #ATAMyStory
1. Why should someone choose testing as a career ? Or What does testing really mean to you ?
When we talk about software, quality is the most important feature associated with It.We always measure quality with effectiveness of our software. Testing is the medium through which we can create a quality software. So if you want to give your best to end users , opt for quality.
Testing means to me responsibility towards end users. We should be accountable and take ownership for the product/services what we are delivering.
2. While practice makes all of us perfect, share an everyday practice that has made things better for you at work
There are couple of things which I feel made me feel accountable for what I perform in day to day work.
1) I have a habit of creating to do list for everyday tasks. This helps me in planning the tasks in hand and I feel accomplished at the end of the day.
2) I also create short objectives for my career plan and create learning schedules. This really helped me in achieving my professional goals.
3) As a test lead/scrum master, I also communicate a lot and make sure my involvement with the team remove the impediments and improve the workflow of process.
3. The most challenging bug or issue that I have found and learnings from it? Or The most challenging testing task that I have done and how I accomplished the same

I am also a certified ethical hacker and passionate about security testing. I always feel if your application is not secure, it does not matter if it is full of good features.
Recently I found a security bug where a user can access the server machine by logging via citrix client. This was present in entire application in many places and cause a huge damage to organization’ reputation.
In testing most, important aspect is what we are testing and what we should not test. One of the requirement we come across is we need to test 160 user stories in 4 months of time as part of regulatory requirements. This seems to be a monstrous task for entire team as only 3 testers are assigned to perform this activity. But we were able to test these user stories with best quality and within the time line,This experience was quite inspiring and motivating for entire team.
I am able to achieve this task by following Lean Agile principles.
4. Anything else you want to share
I am passionate towards finding bugs in the application. This makes me feel accountable for delivering best to my end users.
