We had posted some questions to Smita as a part of her #ATAMyStory
1. Why do you think speaking at #ATAGTR2019 really matters to you?
At #ATAGTR2019 speakers mostly talk about what they have done in various projects and helps one to learn / understand new trends and technology they have worked on and the focus is certainly not only on discussing strategy but on specific outcomes, results, and challenges in testing world. Hence, speaking at #ATAGTR2019 will be new experience for myself and it would be worth meeting likeminded people and industry peers.
2. Do you think that organizations and individuals should go out and mingle more in community programs?
Definitely yes, attending conferences help to know industry peers and gain knowledge it allows to collaborate well with others boosting motivation and confidence.
3. While practice makes all of us perfect, share an everyday practice that has made things better for you at work
First practice that comes to my mind is “List down the priority / Things to do first and estimate hours for it” be at home or work has helped me to stay focused every day. Another practice works better to achieve the common goal is that “Never hesitate to ask for help – ask actively”.
4. What I like about Performance Testing?
I like that many organizations are investing in Performance Testing today to ensure the best speed, reduce bugs, and create a robust and responsive website or application whereas it was unusual in past decade.
5. What I don’t like about Performance Testing?
Many a times, Performance Testing timelines are very stringent due to strict deadlines and consistent environment issues, affecting the agreed scope and leaving no time for deep-dive analysis
