Deepika is our esteemed skit team member for #ATAGTR2019
Deepika will be presenting a Skit on “Security Testing Needs in Healthcare IoT” on Day 1
We had posted some questions to Deepika as a part of his #ATAMyStory
1. Why should someone choose testing as a career? Or what does testing really mean to you?
For me-Let me begin with the small quotes below:
“When the human find the mistake in other human, it’s the criticism. But when the human find the mistake in the code which was developed by the person, then its testing.”
To make the customer satisfy better with the perfection and quality and to deliver the right product at the right time to the customer.
2. While practice makes all of us perfect, share an everyday practice that has made things better for you at work
Keeping in mind “Fail fast and fail forward”-I do mistakes at the beginning and makes a practice to not doing the same mistake again.
Failure will be the learnings and Practice will become my experience.
3. The most challenging bug or issue that I have found and learnings from it ? Or The most challenging testing task that I have done and how I accomplished the same
In one of the project which I worked – the developers deployed the code to the test environment without doing UNIT testing and the site is just half build and not yet completed. I,as the only tester to the respective module, I testing initially as a smoke tester and found no functionality was working fine/not build. I reported the same to my manager with the toughest points to agree and he spoke to the development team to complete all the functionality and then deploy to the test environment. Then it took more than 2 week to deploy the module and then I have started testing.
