Here is the recap of the meetup

Our first ATA meetup in Vadodara was a fantastic start. The event began with a  welcome session by Vishal Parmar and Hitesh Prajapati, setting a positive tone for the day.

The first session, “The Role of Human Testers in the Era of Gen AI, was presented by Dhiren Shah. Dhiren explored the evolving responsibilities of testers in an AI-driven landscape, emphasizing the importance of human oversight and the nuanced understanding testers bring to AI systems. He highlighted the critical role testers play in ensuring the reliability and ethical deployment of AI technologies.

The second session, “Discovery Phase of Performance Test,” was conducted by Prashant Shah. Prashant delved into the initial phase of performance testing, where critical requirements and objectives are identified. He discussed methodologies for gathering relevant data, defining performance criteria, and understanding user expectations. Prashant’s insights into planning and strategizing during the discovery phase underscored its importance in laying a strong foundation for effective performance testing.

Following a 15-minute break, the third session, “A Steer on Automating Desktop Applications,” was delivered by Nimesh Bhatt. Nimesh provided insights into the challenges and techniques involved in automating desktop applications, sharing valuable tips and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in testing.

After these insightful presentations, we had an engaging Networking Break. This interactive session allowed participants to discuss the topics covered, share experiences, and build connections with fellow attendees. The exchange of ideas and knowledge during this break was immensely valuable, contributing to the overall success of the meetup.

Last Sunday, we spent our time in learning and meeting with new people from QA (Vadodara) and networking with them. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible support from hashtag#ATAVadodaraMeetup community and hashtag#Horizontal for sponsoring the event. Such events are obvious in Metros and IT hub cities however to organize in Vadodara first time. We were not expecting such huge crowd as it was first time however participant has nailed it!! Thanks to Vipul Kayasth Dhiren Shah Vishal Parmar and Hitesh Prajapati for making this happen. Firstly, express my heartfelt admiration to managing committee. Secondary, to all speakers who has delivered the presentation to community. Lastly, kudos to all participants who take out time over the weekend despite having personal priorities. From Horizontal, Prashant Shah has given presentation on “Discover phase and 3W for Load Testing “ and Kudos to him for preparing in very short time Thanks to Hardeep Singh Sheetal Jain, Sabin Ephrem for providing support whenever needed. Looking for such event in future and will obtain support from committee and Horizontal.

Reflecting on a Memorable First Community Meetup Agile Testing Alliance 🎉 What an incredible experience it was to attend my first community meetup! I could feel the energy and excitement buzzing in the air because why not it was being hosted by Vishal Parmar. Here are some favorite moments from the event, accompanied by some inspiring quotes that captured the spirit of the day: "Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much." - Helen Keller The sense of unity among attendees was truly inspiring. As we engaged in discussions, shared stories, and exchanged ideas, it became evident that our collective strength lies in our ability to come together as a community. "The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you." - B.B. King One of the highlights of the meetup was the opportunity to learn from each other gaining insights from experts, discovering new perspectives, each interaction was a valuable opportunity for growth and enrichment. Throughout the day , I witnessed the power of community in action. From the warm welcomes to the genuine connections forged between individuals. "The future depends on what we do in the present." - Mahatma Gandhi Each of us has the power to shape the trajectory of our community through our actions, contributions, and commitment to positive change. grateful to be part of such a vibrant and dynamic community. I am excited to see how our collective efforts will continue to enrich and strengthen our community in the days, weeks, and months to come.
